We had a group of farmers from Andhra
Pradesh come today to look around the farm.
This was part of a sustainability course they were doing in Auroville. From our conversations it emerged that not
only does the Andhra government provide free electricity to farmers but also free
irrigation. So unlike Tamil Nadu farmers they are easily able to save water.
They were a very interesting
group and I think enjoyed what we had to show.
