Today our
diggers had to dig a very deep narrow hole for the lightening conductor. Fortunately they were both quite small,
otherwise I don’t think they would have been able to get down the hole. Rajan had a lot of problems when he tried!
You can see the pole in the picture, the larger one just behind the man
standing in the hole.
Last time we
installed a similar conductor it didn’t work.
We had one for the pump panels but the lightening still managed to blow
the inverter on the panels. This new one
has to protect a lot of equipment related to the automatic watering
system. It will be very expensive if it
doesn’t work and the equipment gets damaged.
