Yesterday evening I went out for a meal with Bindu and Tim who Bindu stayed with while she was in London. It was a really lovely evening with good conversation and good food on the roof top of an upmarket restaurant in Puducherry.
On the way back Bindu suggested that we visit the Ashram. I was amazed as I didn't think it was open at night but apparently it stays open until 11.00pm. Tim said he hadn't been there at night since the 70's when he first came to Auroville.
It was really beautiful with a palpable strong and still energy. The samadhi was very bright from the lights shining down on it and in the intense darkness around it the green of the plants and trees seemed to hang in the air.
