Lesley wanted to go out for a walk so we walked
all the way along Portobello road to Kensington gardens, around the Palace,
into Kensington High Street and then on a short bus ride to the Victoria and
Albert Museum. We walked around some of
the exhibitions and then had lunch there.
I got to use a lovely Victorian bathroom at the
V and A. Beautiful tiles, brass taps and
old fashioned sinks. But unfortunately
no ornately decorated toilets by Thomas Crapper.
