Felt very undermined this morning
when someone who is staying in Pierre’s part of the garden came with a new
volunteer who will only stay for three days.
I had already explained to this potential volunteer on email that it
wasn’t possible to stay for such a short time.
According to Pierre’s volunteer Pierre had said it was OK for him to do
so.
I felt very cornered and undermined. Pierre knows this isn’t how we run things and
I got so upset by it. Fortunately had a
lot of work to do on the audio guide.
Eventually gave up trying to get
the cheap devices to take the audio guide.
Talked to someone at lunch whose daughter comes in contact with a lot of
old phones. As a result have put a
request out to the community for old smartphones that I think will work better.
