Got
a lovely letter from two Dutch friends who sent me this picture of an
Iris for my birthday. They invited me for a birthday dinner when
they come to India on Tuesday. It was really lovely to be remembered
and to have something nice planned for me.
The
meaning of Iris is faith, wisdom, peace of mind, friendship and hope.
Purple iris is symbolic of wisdom and compliments. In Greek 'iris'
means 'rainbow'.
