We have a Russian couple coming to volunteer
in the mornings and this afternoon they came with their children – all four
girls. The oldest one is aged 14 and the
three youngest are 6, 4 and 2. This is a
picture of the two youngest playing by the kitchen while their parents worked.
They were totally absorbed in what they were
doing and didn’t seem to mind at all that they were not with their
parents. They took the things around
them and found ways to amuse themselves.
They were lovely and reminded me very much of
Emma and Rachael when they were that age.
