David's ashes

Today I saw David’s daughter Sarah in Norwich.  We had lunch together and were able to talk about David and I gave her his ashes.  As I passed them to her I felt so glad that I had at last discharged this 

responsibility.  I haven’t been able to get a death certificate but it looks as if the papers I have given her 

will be sufficient for her needs.

I was amazed when I came back to London to find from Facebook that today - July 22nd - is David’s birth

day.  It all feels very right.
