Had a really fabulous day today
at Eltham palace. This involved a journey
via Mottingham station (never heard of it before) which is out towards
Bromley. We got a bit lost getting there
and walked a long way around through a lovely footpath with lots of blackberries.
The place itself was extremely
interesting. I felt quite overwhelmed by
the size of the rooms which were at least four times the size of the room where
I live. While reviewing my photos I realized
that I had forgotten to take a photo of the very impressive entry hall. I do miss my camera.
